Name, Contact Number & Postal Address 2. Quantity 3. Payment Method (Paypal/Bank Transfer/Cheque) The Button Badge Artwork Guide But you don't know the best way to send us your design. No problem. Here are the most frequently asked questions relating to badge artwork. What do I need to supply? All we need from you is the artwork that you want to appear on the badge. We do everything else and then deliver completely finished pinned button badges ready for you. Will my artwork be suitable for a button badge? We will be using your artwork to print the badges to fill your order - and of course the badges can only be as good as any artwork supplied. Remember the finished badge is 2.25 inch OR 1.25 inch in diameter and circular so make sure your artwork takes this into account. Very intricate designs or too many words are not usually a good idea. If we feel that the supplied artwork is unsuitable for a button badge or is of too poor quality, we will inform you and try to offer suggestions to improve it. TOP TIP: Do not draw your own circle around your design - unless you want a circle to appear on your finished badges that is. We use cutters to cut the exact size and have our own templates to work from. If you want to draw a circle as a guide send us two versions of the design - one with the circle and one without. Please also bear in mind that although we do our best to match colours, the printing process will inevitably slightly alter some colours. And what a colour looks like on a brightly lit computer screen won't be exactly the same on a button badge anyway. How do I send you my artwork? Email is best - it's quick and easy for both you and us. If e-mailing your artwork please follow these instructions: if possible make sure your artwork is two to three inches in diameter (5-8cm) so that we can reduce it to the exact size required for button badges. Please don't e-mail very large pieces of artwork. please also send your artwork in .psd (Photoshop), .jpg and .gif formats as this produces the best results. If you don't have your artwork in any of these formats, don't worry. Send what you have. please ensure your artwork is formatted for a PC - we do not use Macs. if you are scanning artwork to send us it will look best at 600dpi (300dpi minimum). How quickly will you make my badges? We always do our best to turn badge orders around as quickly as possible. In most instances your badges will be on their way to you within 5days of us receiving suitable artwork and payment from you. Badges are made on a first come first served basis so the sooner you get your order to us, the sooner we can start work on it and the sooner you will get your button badges! If you need your badges urgently please e-mail us with your requirements so that we can give you an idea of how quickly we can do them for you. Top Tip! Remember - when you are looking at your artwork on a computer screen, it is back lit by a bright light. This isn't true of badges. This is very important when using white on a black or dark background where the white text or picture involves fine lines. Away from a computer screen, the black tends to swallow up the white. If this is likely to happen, black on white is always much stronger and results in badges with more impact.
